Honda expanding transmission facilites in America
Wondering when the beloved and long-awaited 6-speed automatic transmission will make its way to your next Honda vehicle? It looks like the 6-speed auto will be introduced in the new redesigned 2013 Honda Accord, will be spread across the entire range in the MMC of the 2013/2014 Honda Odyssey and if it works, it will be spread to the Ridgeline and Pilot with their redesigns coming in about 2-3 years time. Expect the 6-speed auto to make its introduction in the TL soon, RDX when the turbo is out. At this time, the new 2012 Civic will not have a 6-speed.
